FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What controls are on each headphone?
Each pair of headphones has a power button, which allows you to turn the headphones on and off and switch between the three available channels. They also feature an individual volume control, so each person can adjust the sound to their preferred level.
Do the headphones lights up?
Yes, the headphones light up and flash in three different colours – blue, red and green – depending on which channel they are tuned to. This creates a fun, colourful atmosphere while also making it easy to see which channel everyone is enjoying.
What is the reception distance for the headphones?
The headphones have a reception range of approximately 300–500 metres from the transmitter. However, the exact distance may vary depending on the surrounding environment. For the best and most reliable connection, use the headphones in open spaces, as solid walls and other physical obstructions can reduce the transmission range.
Do I need to charge the headphones?
The headphones will be provided fully charged with operation time over 8 hours.
What can I use to play my music?
Transmitter accepts input via a 3.5mm standard audio jack which works with most ipods, smart phones, laptops, PA systems, stereos and professional DJ systems. We can provide adaptors to support Apple’s lightning or the latest USB type C which suits most devices.
Do I need to plug in any equipment?
Yes, one standard GPO is required to plug in the transmitters which will be connected to a power board to cater for the three transmitters.
What happens if headphones go missing at my event?
We understand that accidents happen, but for lost or damaged equipment, there is a $70 fee per headphones and a $150 charger per transmitter.
How long does it take to set the equipment up?
The system is pretty much plug and play. You plug in the transmitters, connect your music players and turn the power on your headphones.
